Koda nodded and raced after Inaya excitedly and hoped the other followed them too as having three on an adventure would be awesome, Koda enjoyed running and never seemed to run out of energy from it and often raced ahead of the pride when he hung out with them but adults were boring so he preferred other pups. As they neared the canyon he struggled to slow down but when he tried slowing down he nearly slid into Inaya and knocked them both down the canyon which would not have been fun at all. Wide eyed he looked down the canyon amazed at how far down it went and backed up slowly to look at the other cubs with a grin. "I bet ya that I'll beat you down!"He said with a smirk and without waiting for an answer he started sliding down the canyon shouting happily hoping the others followed. |

OOC: Nala, please read the rules. Word count minimum for each post is 100 words. There is a word counter at the bottom of each post template so you can see. Add some more description like Koda did, like about your surroundings, and what they're thinking etc. It will help give more content to your posts.

Inaya squeeked when Koda almost knocked her over the canyon edge, but herld her breath to keep from screaming. She didn't want Koda to think she was a wimpy girl, like that cub Sasha. Even thinking about that cub made her shudder. Too much prissiness. No, Inaya never wanted to be like her.
So, she regained her footing and scrambled up, looking breifly over the edge of the canyon.
"Wow," she whispered. "It sure is a long way down. |
[/b] Suddenly, she realized what her had said, and pulled herself together. "Not that I'm scarred or nothing,"[/color] she sniffed, then looked over at Koda as he made his challenge her her. "Ha!" she laughed. "You couldn't beat a turtle! I'll beat you down there in a second! Readysetgo!"[/color] She crouched then flung herself over the edge, her paws immedaitly scrabbling for a foothold on the steep rocks. She held her breath for a moment, thrill making her heart beat like crazy. She soon had a grip and started leaping down. Except for the fact that where she chose to step wasn't the wisest decision. The rock was too weak to her her weight, and it tipped under her. Inaya screamed as she completly lost her footing and plummetted into the canyon. [/blockquote][/td][/tr][/table] |

Star shook her white, fur. Star looked around. "I wonder what those others cubs are doing?" she thought. Star caught sight of what they were doing. "Maybe i should talk to them" she thought. Star, stepped onto the steep rocks she looked down "It sure is a long way down" she whimpered. Star, shook her head slightly. She sighed "I can do it i can do it" she mumbled. Star then, before she did slide down. Star took a deep breath and slid down. Star saw a male cub. "Oh um hi" she said shyly. Star, was shy obviously she didn't have siblings her age but even if she did she still would be shy. Star is also small. It was rare to see a white Lion cub. Star looked at the male cub with her brown eyes.

Koda looked behind him as the other cubs slid down behind him and he grinned as he realised what a fun day this was going to be, instead of just him he had three other cubs to go with him. Excited he slid the rest of the way down and stood up and shook the dust off him and waited for the others to slide down, he then proceeded to look around with his wide eyes. As the others made it down he winked at Inaya, 'Told ya I'd beat you!" He then turned to the other cub who had said hi to him. "Oh hi, I'm Koda!" He said softly and looked at them both, "Um, wheres Eshe at?" He asked worried.

Star smiled softly. She looked back she assumed the cub Eshe was the girl cub she saw. Star flicked her ears. Star wondered where was. "Hmm I could help you look for her Koda..." Star offered. She might be really shy. But she wanted to help anyone who needed it. Star, waited for his response a spark in her eyes. Could Koda be her friend? He was nice enough but didn't know if he wanted to be her friend. Star smiled at the thought of having a friend but returned to reality. Star looked at Koda waiting for his answer. Star swayed her white tail back and forth.

By the time Inaya reached the bottom of the canyon, she was covered in dust. So much that her orangy-tawny coat had become almost grey in color. She laughed and shook herself, spraying the dust in all directions. Then she heard Koda, and narrowed her eyes at him.
"Just you wait." she told him. "I'll get you back. I'll beat you. |
[/b] She glanced over at the new cub and steped forward, eyes inquisitive and questioning. "Who are you?"[/b] she asked her, studying her with a slightly suspicious glance. She had never seen this cub before.Inaya was a friendly cub, but slightly suspicious of new comers. She warmed up quickly, though, once she got to know whoever-it-was. She noticed that Koda was already seeming to make friends with her. But all the same, Inaya was interested in finding out just who this cub was nd where she had come from. Koda watched Inaya slide down and the warned him that next time she would beat him in a race and he giggled before watching her approach the new cub who he had already greeted, of course Koda trusted everyone but didnt mind her interrogating the new cub as she wasnt being too hard on her which was good.
Koda liked the cub already but he liked everyone that wanted to hang out with him and who liked going on adventures like the one they were going on now, Koda's tail swished as he approached Inaya with a grin, "Shes a cub like us Inaya, she wants what we all are looking for. Adventure and excitement!

NPC Predator Alert:
1 Female Cheetah
Her golden pelt was not that easy to see in the Canyons, she blended in rather well. She could easily sneak up on any prey. And she was hungry. She would settle for anything right now. Since she decided to venture on her own not too long ago away from her mother, she had not been so successful at hunting larger prey on her own. She just couldn't keep up. That would change in time, but for now, she was going to investigate the voices she was hearing. Maybe a nice snack was among them. She crouched down low and slowly and steadily made her way towards them and hid herself behind a rock to peek around. Just a couple of cubs. She could easily nab one then run before anyone came to save them.
Stepping lightly around the rock to make herself seen, she snickered. "My, my, my! What on earth are you cubs doing out here all alone? It is dangerous, you know. Someone might try to eat you!" She took short and slow steps towards the cubs, her body high with dignity, waiting for just the right moment to pounce. She would gain their trust first.

Star, became nervous but was glad when her new friend. Koda, spoke for her. Just, then Star saw a- a cheetah! Star flattened her ears she backed away slowly. When the cheetah talked. Star, was really smart for a 3 month old cub. She knew what the cheetah meant. She, was going to eat her, Inaya and Koda! Star became really scared. She, whimpered. Star's white tail swished. She, looked down. Star, stood next to Koda and Inaya. Star was, how could I say, really scared at the moment. Her, ears were flattened in a way that made other lions know that she was afraid.

Inaya opened her mouth to speak to the other cub again, but her words were cut off, replaced by someone else's voice. The young cub spun to see a cheetah slinking towards them, smiling congenially at them. Immediately, Inaya's ears flattened against her head, and she backed away, trying to put herself between the younger Star and the cheetah. She growled, baring immature milk teeth.
"Y-you stay away!" she squeaked, voice shaking as were her legs. She pressed herself to the ground, ready to run at a moment's notice. She watched the cheetah intently, and glanced over to Koda. Should they run? If they did, she'd be on them in a second. They were dead. And no one would ever knew they were gone... |

Koda had been looking around intently when he heard the approach of a larger lion and turned around quickly to join the other cubs and faced the cheetah, Koda knew he had to be brave as he was the only male cub here and being a scaredy lion would not be very good for his reputation even though he had none. He stood beside Inaya as she squeaked at the lion and he could tell she was frighted, he was also but he wasn't about to let that show. "Yeah! Or Prince Kovu will teach you a lesson!" Koda was not sure if mentioning Kovu was a good idea but what else was he going to do? He then turned and whispered to Inaya. "When I say run, run." He was not sure how long he was going to keep up the bravado. |

1 Female Cheetah
The cheetah jerked her head back as all the cubs stood in a defensive manner. She was awed at their reaction. Taking a very slow step towards the cubs, she had a slight frown on her face as she tried making up for her being a cheetah. "Dear young ones, I am merely warning you of dangers around here." She took another short step forward as she finished her lie. She wasn't too far from them at all. She knew they would most likely run, but she could run quicker than the puny little meals.
Putting her tail at one side and still standing tall, she looked very regal as she added another comment, "Why don't you youngins' let me take you home." She smiled down at them, hoping her cunning would work. If her words didn't work this time, she would just have to take action.

 {Star}Star looked at the cheetah, trembling. Star, flicked her ears. This cheetah was lying she knew a liar when she saw one. Oh how she wished Lilly was here, Star whimpered. "P-Please leave!" Star said. She had to be brave like Lilly. She couldn't be scared all the time. Star, stood up and growled trying to sound like an adult lioness but a tiny squeak came out. Star, flattened her ears and backed away, whimpering. This, cheetah was big and scary. Star, was afraid but she glared at the cheetah. Lilly, roamed the Savannah. She came across a canyon. She saw cubs and a cheetah! and star! oh no not her little sister! Lilly growled and stood in front of the cubs. "Leave this cubs alone!" she growled loudly. Star, saw lilly she felt slightly more safe now. |
