NPC Predator Alert:
1 Female Cheetah


The cheetah saw the adolescent lioness, but she still had no fear. Only an adult lion or lioness could over-run her - in this she was confident. She decided that her plan to make them trust her was not going to work, so she took her chances. She ran around the adolescent lioness and lunged for the male cub, her claws unsheathed and ready to latch on. She knew that even if the cubs tried to be brave and the adolescent tried to save the male cub, she would still get a few bites in before she would have to run or attack more. Drool slipped out in her fit of hunger as she was reaching for the male. One less male meant many less cubs. She had anticipated this moment, this amazing sense of pride, since she had left her mother to be on her own. There was no way anything would stop her from becoming a dominant predator now.

Lilly growled loudly, and for a second glanced at the other predator. "Leave these cubs alone now." she growled. Lilly, was usually a sweet lioness but could kill if it was necessary. Lilly, leaped at the cheetah and aimed for the cheetah's spotted, back. She, bared her teeth and growled loudly. Ready, to bide down really, hard on the cheetah's spotted back. Her, claws unseathed, and aiming for the back.
"K-Koda" Star whimpered. Star, was really scared now, and not for herself. She was also afraid for Koda. She glanced at Koda, she froze. "What will happen to Koda?" the young cub thought to herself. She only just met him minutes ago now he was close to death. "What will happen to Lilly also?" Star thought Lilly was everything to her she loved her with all her might. What if she got hurt? or worse? She began to worry. Star unsheathed her tiny claws and hit the large cheetah she only reached the cheetah's ankle so she aimed for the ankle trying, to seem brave, like her sister Lilly.

This moment was really really, really scary. Star growled slightly in frustration, she, then calmed down. There were more important things, to think about. Worries filled the young cub's heart. "Please leave my friend alone." she whimpered.

[Koda]

Koda noticed that the cheetah had given up on being kind to them and was stunned when she lunged at him, what kind of lion would hurt a cub? And another thing, he hadn't done anything except decide to explore the canyon; How was he to know that there were bad lions out there. Quickly moving he avoided her claws for the most part, but a claw managed to wound him and put a large gash on his shoulder; Getting light headed he quickly turned around to fight but he soon lost consciousness but before he blacked out he whispered to the other cubs. "Go get help" And fainted, he was not dead but he was unconscious and if he didn't get help soon he would die.

Star heard Koda whisper something to her. "Go get help!" then he passed out. Star looked at Inaya. Star had heard of the Pridelands but never really been there. "Inaya do you know where the Pridelands are?" she asked. Star glanced at Lilly then back to Inaya. Star really wanted to help Koda with all her cub might. Her brown eyes gleamed while she looked at Inaya. She was determined to save Koda, whether she was scared or not. Star waited for Inaya's answer. She made her way away from the canyon, hoping Inaya would follow her.

Lilly eyes widened as she growled at the cheetah. Padding over to the male cub, she began to examine the wound on his shoulder. Lilly was the one who began to worry now. This was a large wound if help didn't come soon he was going to die. Lilly glared at the cheetah. "Go NOW!" the tone of her voice sounded both protective and worried at the same time.

{Kovu}

Kovu made his way through the savanna, twining through stands of acacia trees, thick bushes, and across rivers. Andromdea followed behind him, trotting to keep up with the prince. As Kovu moved farther from Priderock and nearer to the canyon, his step began to grow quicker and quicker. Doubts flooded his mind. What if the cubs really were in danger? What if they were in danger right now? Before he knew it, he had lengthened into the run, and was soon pounding across the savanna, Andromeda on his heals. Suddenly, a flock of birds exploded from the canyon, obviously frightened. Kovu paused, eyes narrowed as he watched them. Terror gripped his heart. "No!" he snarled, and leaped into all-out gallop. Andromeda, too, leaped forward, racing after her prince at break-neck spead. Please don't let us be too late, please don't let us be too late.... his mind echoed over and over. Andromeda panted behind him, though did not complain. She understood the birds. It meant danger was definatly present. The ground abruptly ended, and Kovu skidded to a halt, looked down into the gorge to see Koda, Inaya, and one other cub along with an unfamiliar female being attacked by a cheetah. He cared nothing for the unfamiliar lions at the moment. His pride's cubs were down there. And they were being attacked. Anger rising in his throat, Kovu opened his maw and let out a terrifying roar which echoed off the walls of the gorge. This cheetah would know that the Prince of the Pridelands was coming, and he was out for blood. --------------------------------------------------- Inaya screamed as the cheetah leaped for Koda, knocking the poor cub unconscious. Anger flared in her heart. How dare she hurt her friend? But, what could such a young cub such as she do? There was nothing to do. The cheetah would eat them all, and there would be no one to save them. Stealing herself, she decided on something crazy. An idea that might work, but might end horribly. She bounded up to the cheetah, and, unleashing sharp claws, swiped it across the face. Then she turned tail and leaped away, before turning back. "Come and get me!" she yelled, tauntingly. If the cheetah chased her, it might give the others time to escape. She turned and dashed across the base of the gorge, running as fast as she could to tempt her pursuer. She hoped this would work.

NPC Predator Alert:
1 Female Cheetah


The Cheetah smirked as the male cub went down. She was just about to lunge after him to finish him off when she heard a mighty roar. Looking up, trembling, she saw the male lion and a female close by. The king of the pride, she thought. That wasn't a good sign for her. They were still a bit away to reach them in time before she could snag her lunch, but then another of the cubs started taunting her. She had to run away as it was, and this would be the perfect get-away plan. Grab the running cub, and run with her away from the male lion that was here to protect them. A bit late, she thought. She braced herself for the run, her front paws spread out away from her body just a little, and her entire body hunched down. She took off with lightning speed, the cub was already running and was a short distance ahead of her, but the cheetah had confidence beyond belief that she could grab the cub and outrun the large male lion that would stand in her way, so she continued her efforts faithfully instead of running for her life. It was her only chance to live.

{Lilly}

{Star}

Star widened her eyes as Inaya taunted the cheetah. Star watched as she taunted the terrible, creature. Star, then saw another lioness and a, adult male lion. "Maybe they were help?" Star thought. Star, was willing for anyone to help Koda. And to help Koda herself also. Star walked over to the unconscious Koda. She laid down next to him. He was her friend and she would stay with him. Star hoped that her friend Koda would be OK. That he would survive and that he would live to see another day.

Lilly, saw a lioness and a male lion. But, she didn't pay them any attention well, maybe they could be both of the cub's parents. Right now all she wanted to do was protect and help the male cub. Even though, the cub was not her cub or a sibling she thinks no cub deserves to die.

Once again worry filled the cub's heart Star often, put others before herself. Star stayed by Koda's side.

[Night]

Kiara followed closely behind Kovu, only a few steps behind him. She kept looking behind her shoulder to check if Andromeda was there, but the lioness was keeping up just fine. Her mate was very concentrated on the task ahead, and Kiara could practically feel the worry flowing off of him. She kept walking, looking down at the ground, and looked up as Kovu picked up his pace, starting to run. She kept up with him effortlessly; she had always been pretty fast. As they got closer to the canyon, a flock of birds flew past in a gust of tweeting and flapping wings, and that's when Kovu took off at full speed. Kiara let out a small growl before bolting after him, and kept up with him as they ran even closer. Upon reaching an edge, she saw Inaya, Koda and another cub she had never seen before that. She also saw another lioness, but this wasn't the time to worry about them. Kiara's eyes locked on a cheetah, and then Koda once she realized that he wasn't moving, and sheer fury clouded her vision. If the cheetah had killed him, she would tear her to pieces! Kovu let out a fierce roar that even she cringed at, and the princess snarled in anger. Looking down, she saw the cheetah freeze in fear, and then watched as Inaya fearlessly slashed at the cheetah's face with her tiny claws and ran. The cheetah looked like she was going to run, and then Kiara watched in horror as the cheetah's eyes locked on Inaya. Without even thinking, Kiara launched herself off the edge as the predator took off towards the helpless cub. With a hard landing that she didn't even notice, the princess took off towards the cheetah, snarling in complete hatred. The cheetah had took a huge risk for going after the cubs, and now she was going to pay for it. Kiara was running so fast she could hear the wind whistling in her ears, her body an orange blur. Passing the cheetah, she aimed for Inaya. She carefully picked up the cub by the scruff and tried to throw her onto a small cliff that was nearby, hoping to get her out of the way, and then quickly flipped around towards the cheetah, her teeth bared and a snarl escaping her throat. With a fearless roar, she aimed her claws at the cheetah's face, hoping to stun her. If all worked, she would step back and let Kovu finish. Fighting was never her strong point, and she had cubs to protect.

{Kovu}

Kovu was angry enough that this cheetah dared mess with cubs from his pride, but when he saw what she had done to Koda, the anger burned even hotter. He leaped from the edge of the canyon, poweful muscles propelling him down the rocks with minimal slipping, sharp claws keeping his balance. Andromeda was right behind him, and he saw his mate was already aiming to save the young Inaya from the teeth of the running cheetah. Kovu's eyes locked onto the predator. Once reaching the bottom of the canyon, he leaped off the rocks and ran full speed towards the creature. "See to Koda!" he snapped to Andromeda as he leaped away. The rust-colored lioness paused in her run, then turned to rush to the fallen cub. Cubs were one of her specialties. Kovu's feet pounded on the ground as he came up behind the cheetah. His mate has alrady attacked it from the front, and now he aimed at the back. Remembering his training as a cub, Kovu leaped and propelled himself at the creature, choosing an arial assault as the best option here. Claws extended, he landed hard on the cheetah, teeth searching for flesh to gouge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Inaya was caught by surprise when Kiara lifted her by the scruff. She thought for sure that it was the cheetah, she screamed as her feet left the ground. But then she was flying through the air, like the birds high above them. A flat rock came up to hit her, and for a minute, she lay stunned. Then she came to her senses and rolled over, eyes wide and locking on the scene before her: Kovu and Kiara vs. the cheetah. Her breath caught in her throat. Who would win? ----------------------------------------------------- Andromeda quickly came to the aid of Koda. She knelt beside him, nuzzled him gently. "Koda," she said gently to him. "Koda, sweetheart, can you hear me? You're going to be okay." She gently picked the cub up by the scruff, before seeing the small white female lying nearby. This cub couldn't be anymore than a few months old. Gently, Andromeda set Koda down at her feet, and looked compassionatly down at this female. "And who are you?" she asked, making sure her voice wouldn't frighten the poor thing. "Are you hurt?"

[Koda]

Koda laid still barely conscious but he had hear her and weakly nodded his head as she set him down at her feet, he had lost a lot of blood for such a small cub but Koda was not one to give up and he would fight to live no matter the cost. He would probably have a limp for the rest of his life but that was the price he was willing to pay as he was still young and was planning on doing a lot more exploring, even though he would be a lot more aware of his surrounding after this.

Star glanced at the Lioness speaking to her. She stared at her. "My name is Star" she replied her voice sounding afraid. She, looked at Koda, "I-I'm Koda's friend" she said in her soft voice. Star answered the lioness's other question also. "I'm ok i'm not hurt i'm just hope Koda will be ok" Star said. With the events of today Star was sure, that she was gonna be more careful. Koda, lost a lot of blood star saw, she just wanted her friend the very first friend she made, to be ok. Star stood up, her tail flicking she stared at Koda with her brown eyes "Koda Please be ok" she thought. She, glanced at the lioness, sadness in her brown eyes. The thought of Koda dyng made her feel sad, but she still hoped he would be ok.


Lilly saw the female cub being thrown on a flat rock. She saw the large male lion and another lioness attacking the cheetah. Maybe, she shouldn't interfere, but yet she wanted to help. She was hesitating, "Oh come on! this is not the time to hesitate!"Lilly thought. She shook her head. She, will attack the cheetah as well.

{Andromeda}

Andromeda looked down at the young white female. She was so young. She wondered if the child had a mother. And if so, where she was. She glanced at the female lioness she'd seen earlier. Was she this cub's mother? The cub spoke that she wanted Koda to be okay. Andromeda smiled softly, knowing all this must be terrifying to her. The poor child. Andromeda looked down at Koda, lowered her head and ran her rough, sandpaper tongue gently over his fur. She looed back at Star and smiled. "I'll tell you a little secret, Star," she said to the cub. "You don't have to worry about your friend Koda here. He's quite a special little cub, and he's got too much spirit to give up on us. He'll be just fine." She winked at the cub. "So, Star," she added."Where are you from? Do you have a family, little one?"

{Lilly}

{Star}

Lilly glanced at Star, and a lioness with Star. Lilly's ears flicked she glanced at the cub on the flat rock. She, looked at the cheetah. Lilly knew what she was going to do she was going to fight this, cheetah. If the lioness and Lion didn't want to fight with them I guess she wasn't going to argue over it, I mean now is especially not the time argue.

Star looked up at the lioness. She smiled feeling better. "I live in the Jungle." Star answered. "Y-Yes i have a sister." she replied. Poor Star never met her parents. She wasn't sure what happened to them since they died when she was only a few days old but she didn't know what happened to them. Star looked at the lioness with her brown eyes.

NPC Predator Alert:
1 Female Cheetah


The Cheetah was almost at the cub when a flash of orangish-brown swept by her quickly, picking up the cub and throwing it out of her reach. She came to a quick halt as the lioness stood before her, teeth baring and ready to strike at her any moment. All she had wanted was a quick lunch.

She decided she could outrun the lioness, so she quickly turned her heels and went to run in the opposite direction, but before she could even get her paws to move she had been blocked yet again, this time by the big male lion that she had assumed as the king of the pride, possibly the dad of the cubs. She had no choice but to try to fight. Baring her teeth in a ferocious snarl, she went to make her move but before she could, the lion had jumped towards her and was trying to take her down. Her first instinct was to reach behind her and try to bite her attacker, falling down in the process, her entire body now sideways. She tried putting her feet up to block, and in the meantime, scratch away at the lion's pelt. She was outnumbered with just the one lion and she knew this, but her only chance of surviving this attack was to fight back, as she couldn't get a good start at running with the lions being so close to tackle her again. If only she had been quicker in taking one of the cubs away, instead of wasting time trying to get the trust of the cubs first.

{Kovu}

Kovu raised on large paw and smacked the cheetah across the face, but before he knew it, she had already fallen sideways onto the ground. He stood above her, claws exteneded, teeth bared in a wicked snarl. In the back of his mind, he knew what hs mother would have done. She would have killed the cheetah out of sheer spite and let it get away. But a different thought passed through his mind. A thought that maybe he should let her live. "Look at yourself," he snarled at her. "I could kill you with a single swipe of one of my paws. But I won't. I don't want to kill you. I should, since you almost took the lives of two cubs in my own pride, and one other innocent one. But I won't. You have a place here as much I as do. I won't kill you."

He glanced breifly over his shoulder at Inaya, then at Koda and the small white cub which he did not know.

"But,"[/color] he said, turning back to her. "I never want to see you around these cubs again, do you understand? Never again. If I do, may the Great Kings help me, I will tear you limb from limb and spread your remains over all the savanna for the buzzards to finish off! Do you understand me?[/color]

He bared his razor-sharp teeth in snarl to drive his point home. SLowly, he took a step back and glared at her.

"Get out of here,"[/color] he said, his voice deadly-cold.
