 Kiara watched in astonishment as the cheetah turned around to run away, and the lioness smirked as she saw Kovu standing right in the cheetah's path. Bracing herself in case the cheetah decided to run again, the princess watched as her mate and the cub-snatcher attacked each other. She became twitchy, wanting desperately to jump into the fight as well, but knew that she shouldn't interfere. She would just end up getting in the way. Her claws digging into the ground, she watched the two intensely. She stepped back, her muscles ready to attack, as the cheetah fell down and Kovu stood above her. She looked behind Kovu to see Andromeda with the cubs. If the cheetah tried to pull anything, the lioness would be with the cubs. She listened closely as Kovu growled threats to the cheetah if she was to ever return. Kiara's heart swelled with pride for her mate. Instead of trying to kill the cheetah, or at least terribly wound her, Kovu was instead letting her go, just as her father would do. With every day that passed he was becoming more and more kingly, so to say. Kovu stepped back from the cheetah, his teeth bared in a snarl. "Get out of here," Kovu said, his voice as cold as ice. Kiara snarled at the cheetah, giving her a final warning if she were to try anything. She hoped that the hunter would take this moment to run away. She didn't want to attack the cheetah if given the opportunity, but she hurt her if she had to. |

Koda was wounded badly but he slowly gained consciousness and his eyes fluttered open although his body was threatening to lose consciousness but he struggled to stay alert as he looked around and noticed that the cheetah was gone but did hear Kovu snarl at Kiara as he fought them and wished he could do something but as he was part of the problem for bringing the other cubs here.
He knew when he was healed up he would probably be grounded to the den, but knowing him he wouldn't stay put for very long; he struggled to stand up but collapsed as he had lost blood and lost consciousness again.

Star watched Koda as he struggled to stand she saw Koda collapse and lose consciousness. Star flattened her ears and looked at the adult lion and lioness. Star, sat down and flicked her tail slightly. Star was trembling with fright. Star's tail began to twitch and her ears began to flick. This happened when Star was very scared or very nervous. In this case she's very scared. Even though the cheetah was pinned Star is still really scared. Star stretched out her tiny claws slightly and her ears continued to flick and her tail continued twitching. Star laid down. I mean who wouldn't? the cheetah could strike at any moment? Star's whole body began to tremble. Her tail twitched and her ears flicked.
By now Lilly was sure that she trusted these lions with her sister. She saw Star and could tell by her tail and ears that she was still very afraid. Star laid her head on her head she was next to Koda. Star continued to tremble.
Lilly, stood by the entrance of the canyon. Lilly laid down on her belly and her tail swished.
